From its inception, the Paw Paw Lake Yacht Club has served as the organizing authority for intra club racing.
Club racing is typically held on weekends throughout the sailing season (see racing documents for the most up to date schedule). For club racing, skippers of racing yachts must be good standing in the yacht club. Club members who wish to participate in crewing on a racing boat should contact the fleet captain.
Throughout the season, the Paw Paw Lake Yacht Club may host invitational regattas. Historically, these include the Pot'Pourri, the Paw Paw Lake Star Open, The State of Michigan Star Championship Philip Q. Upton Memorial, and the Norm Wilhelmsen Memorial.
